As seller, I want to see buying transactions

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to know if we already sold a product or not ? I don’t know but something like a graphic where we can see how many products we sold ? filter by days, month, years ?

Am I missing something or this feature not exist ? (Yet… I hope)

Thanks a lot

Same problem here.
The old marketplace had a a section with earnings by day.
It wasn’t at all optimal, because it was just stating how many units of a product one had sold (with no access to transaction ids to verify purchases for example).
But now, I see absolutely nothing not even an empty tab with title “earnings”. Is this a bug?

You still need to access those via the old portal Publisher Portal
The feature should hopefully be available soon directly on FAB, that’s what they said before launch anyway

hey, @Malliana and other folks, we’re aiming to release sales and payouts report by the end of this month. Please give us a little time to set it up. Thank you for your patience!

Thats good to know that theres a time frame for Sales Reports.
I do wanna ask though, is @nerwy accurate saying that for the time being we’ll see sales on the old portal until the in Fab’s Sales Portal is active?

I looked the dev portal he said, but it’s only for “old” unreal marketplace only. Not fab

FAB Sales do indeed appear on the old publishing portal. They have a dedicated namespace “fab-listing-live” instead of “UE Marketplace” and have an associated licence tier.

Strange, I don’t see anything sold by fab yesterday, not even the free product that usually “sells” 20-30 per day.

Because search and rankings are broken. When I search for my asset pack by name (forgotten graveyards) it’s not even there in first 20 or so results, and above it are things like “rusty pipes pack” and “scanned antique books” (it was even worse yesterday, many pages till I could find it). When I search for related terms like ‘low poly graveyards’ I can’t even find it.

Some sellers did make some sales and it did appear in UE Publisher portal for them though… but a lot of sellers don’t even have access to old portal, do they?

Today again I see no information on the old publisher portal of the old Marketplace, not even for the free product that usually “sells” 20-30 per day. I’m a seller since 2019, so it’s not a new account.
This makes me to feel very uncomfortable with fab. What’s going on? Is this a bug of the interface or something more serious?

Just figured I’d chime in here and say that I see two sales in the old publisher portal for the last 24 hours. So it is working. maybe they have changed the way free items report sales though or something. Who knows

Or maybe it’s still a bug that doesn’t affect everybody.
In the migration process they managed to change my seller primary email address to my Epic account email address. Maybe this now affects the fact I’m missing the sales reports (or maybe I’m really missing also the sales, not only the reports).
It’s weird and I’m really worried at this point.

Hi there. Free products “sold” on Fab should currently be showing up in your reports in the UE Marketplace dashboard.

Hi @VertexMachine . Thanks for reporting this. We’re making some adjustments to Search to improve relevancy of how results are ordered. We’ll be continuing to fine tune this and the example that you share is helpful as we do that.

Thank you for let me know. A few people took now my free product, in this way tomorrow I will know if there is a problem with the migration of my account or not.

We’re double-checking this to make sure that everything is actually working as it should. I’ll update you when we know more.

UPDATE: “Sales” of free things on Fab don’t show up in UE Marketplace sales dashboard and we’re working to ensure that they will show up in Fab sales reports, which will be released by the 31st of October.

Thank you for the update! Could you maybe also verify that paid sales are reported correctly? There are few people including myself that didn’t sell anything since the launch, see this thread for example: Anyone sold anything after the launch of Fab? - Community / Publishers Hub - Epic Developer Community Forums

I only got products on FAB and not on the old marketplace but if I check my published products list, I got nothing
Hard to follow a product which doesn’t exist at all xD

Thank you for working on it! I already was experimenting on my end and managed to do good positioning for my other pack (Low Poly Nature). But for the love of me I can’t figure out the other one (I was changing things about it like description, name, category and still it’s super hard to find it on Fab… btw. now it’s called “Low Poly Graveyards” though I really wish that search would improve enough that I could go back to previous name). It also seems to me that tags are not really taken into account by search right now (or with very low weight)?
