Plugins that I create and list on fab are marked as “You own this item” however, download and add to library do nothing. There is no way to download or use my own plugin through fab.
What type of bug are you experiencing?
Publishing
Steps to Reproduce
1: List plug in on FAB.
2: Go to Plugin store page of your own product to see “You own this”
3: Go to library to see that it isn’t there.
Expected Result
Expected result is that I can use my own plugin as I do purchased ones.
Observed Result
There is no way to download or use my own plugin through fab.
I have the same problem and have already had a reply from support. I was told that the problem has been fixed, but this is not the case. It still exists…
@Flak I am still unable to install my plugin as a typical user would. I have explored every way that I can find. I select “add to library” but it’s not there. I click “download” and it says to get from the library in the launcher, but it’s not there. I can’t find any mention of this in documentation.
So is this a kind of issue that seller can resolve themselves or Epic will solve it?
I’m curious since there are assets in one of my projects that I do not see in the library anymore and I cannot find them. I can copy them between projects but I would rather download them directly to project.
It on epic end sadly , doesnt appear in Vault nor on Fab plugin nor can we download our plugin from fab website.
The only way would be to make another account and buy our own product to test it . (if it doesnt bug out during buy out which is another issue, even then there bug with specific to 5.5 which can go missing, again another issue)
We are waiting like weeks and month since reported but no update except that previous post from the staff that the issue has been reported and that it.
