Hi community!
I’ve been watching ue5’s development, since it came out. My field is Archviz and i was waiting for the day that lumen, nanite andVR can go together. I have created a complex scene in 5.2. Its complexity is foliage. I have lots of grass and trees (all quixel megascans) distributed with the foliage actor, all using nanite. I have imported the VR template and try to use VR to visualize it. In the editor i am at 40-60 fps but as soon as i use VR (HTC vive pro) it drops to like 5. Settings are on epic / high (not much difference) running on an rtx3090 24gb ram.
Is this something to be expected or do i need to tinker with some settings. I’ve seen another user report similar thing and he used omniverse to see it without lag. Im however interested to know if in 5.2 a drop in fps from editor to VR (60-5) is normal and expected or not and if i can do something about it!
Thanks in advance!
