Ants to Outer Space, spherical shader

Hello. I am running into a problem when using the new sky atmosphere. So for a cinnimatic camera shot I need to be able to translate a camera from high atmosphere to the ground have it look correct. The issue I am having is right now is when the camera is high up in the atmosphere my ocean plane isn’t deforming to the curvature of the planet. Here is an image of what I mean.

I was watching the deep dive video of the From Ants to Outer Space (From Ants To Outer Space | Inside Unreal - YouTube) and saw that he had a material function attached to all his materials.

Unfortunately, he does not go into depth about this material function. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some resources or just the function in general.
