Hey guys, I’m a graduate game programmer from the UK looking for people to team up with me. This is my 2nd UE jam, but 5th game jam in total.

Looking for anyone who has decent experience in any of the bullet points or sub-bullet points below:

• 3D Artists or Designers

• General level asset creation

• Level design / environment design

• Character creation (Depending on the theme, might not need to be humanoid characters)

• Animations would be a bonus, but not a must!

• Audio

• General level music

• Sound effects

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to set up version control in time, but will definitely be looking into it before the jam starts (Will be looking into using SVN unless you prefer Perforce then I can look into setting that up instead). No worries if you have no experience with version control, if need be we can use Google Drive, Dropbox etc.

For the style of the game, I am completely open to suggestions once the theme is announced and would prefer to use Discord to communicate if possible (no need for voice chat if you don’t want)

If we are using 3d models from artists through a CC0 license, does that mean they take up a slot for the 5-man group since they will be properly credited in the game?

Also wondering the same about marketplace assets, do they take a slot of the dev group as well?

What they are trying to say is this: You will be judged on the work you did during the gamejam. This means you if you send in a game you have been working on for 3 months already, it will only be judged on the work done in the last week (during the jam). You are however allowed to use assets from the store without penalty. Since this is usually just animations and models which are things that take time to create, so they are allowed for use in the jam. It is something else entirely to have 3 months of coding and testing done already, hence the penalty. I hope this clarifies it

Haha, I know, my notepad already has an entire sheet from this brainstorm so far. Gotta keep it simple since I’ll really only have 3 or 4 days to work on it solidly.
