Anisotropy doesn't work with transparent material.

Anisotropy works well with opaque material, but when I switch blend mode to transparent, there is no anisotropic effect any more. This issue exists in both UE4.27 and the latest UE5.3. I don’t know if this is a feature or a bug. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks for your time.


Hi, yes you can not have surface reflections on translucent materials. They use different shading models, if you strive for something like that you need to come up with a custom solution.
