"Animation Relative" breaks my character's face but only if I am using GLTF importer


The character was imported using FBX a long time ago and for some reason importing a GLTF animation for this skeleton causes the face to puff up, I checked the animation and the bones are in perfect positions and they don’t have any transformation on them they are just in the default positions like on the original skeleton:

Any ideas how to fix this? This only happens on the face, even though other parts of the character (fingers) have “Animation Relative” translation retargeting applied as well but it doesn’t happen there.

Well it seems to have fixed itself after reimporting the character but now the normals are broken but it’s another bug
