I’m having this material issue with a bobbing sprite in UEFN, anyone know what might be the issue for the flickering? Material graph and issue below:
Only the far one flickers, did you test to see if it’s due to the distance?
Yes, it’s definitively a distance issue, but I cannot quite understand why it flickers. I haven’t seen this in other UEFN experiences, so I’m trying to understand what I’m doing wrong. The sprite is on a simple 3d plane.
If I turn off the animation cycle it also seems to work fine. Maybe if I could make it stop animating after a certain distance it would work. Do you know if there is such a function in materials?
Edit: Rubber ducked my way to using LODs with different materials where animation is off on LOD1 and then on in LOD0.
