Anim class and Possess AI buttons in editor not working

Hi All

Does anyone know why the anim class and possess ai selectors in the details panel of any character class would become unresponsive? I’ve tried making new characters bp’s that inherit from my custom c++ classes, and also from the vanilla character class. Nothing works.

However, if I start a new project from the third person template and open the character class, these things work as they should in the details panel.

EDIT: I think this may be a bug. I just got it to load an anim blueprint by creating a new bp from my C++ subclass and then clicking on the mesh in the viewport a few times before hitting the Anim Class button…
