Android Log File?

I use the Project Launcher to create an apk which I then install on the phone (Redmi Note 8 Pro - Android 11).

I checked the option “Make log files always publicly accesible” in Project Settings>>Android but still can’t find any log file in either of the specified locations (/sdcard/Android or /sdcard/UE4Game)

Please help! Developing without logs is like flying blind!

in 5.2.1 im not getting logs either.

Ensure youre in development mode and not shipping. but still im not getting logs

did you ever figure out how to get the logs?

Me Neither. And it’s awful. Do you guys getting close upon game launch ?

I’ve had a great developer friend told me its broken in 5.2.1 and fixed in 5.3

Hey @RealAero It would be helpful if I know how to solve it. Is it Android Studio setup issue or should we script it ? Can you share further more details.

If it is Android studio library setup thing. Can you share your Android Studio SDK,NDK,etccccc everything regarding here ?

Got it. But not in UE Andoid configuration. I am asking ANDROID STUDIO 2022.2.1 SDK,NDK and all other components you installed Setup

Please post them whenever you got in your workplace

I Upgraded to 5.3.1.

Still no Android logs and still can’t save SaveGames.

Hey thank you for your help. It got solved for me.It’s working now on mobile without crashes.

How should we come up with this savegame problem?
