Alpha Channel in EXR export


I have an animated character in the latest unreal version that I want to export via sequencer as exr sequence and than put it into nuke or after effect to compose with a 2d background.
So far I tried different formats like png and exr, I have change the world settings background- alpha = 0, using masks like the depth or the custom depth are not so nice as the suffer from antialiasing issues. I have checked the documentation, the forum and google without any solution.

As the exr and pngs are supporting RGBA can anybody help me out here?

Hi Patrick - I’m also having issues with no alpha channel on exported exr and png files…did you find any solution ?

I had trouble with this to for months, and used unproductive workarounds… I think this is the solution
