Hello,
I’m having some real troubles with my keybinds in Fortnite.
I am unable to bind any vehicle-related actions. This affects:
Cars
Motocross bikes
Reboot/Revive Vans in Zero Build
Other vehicle-specific actions
For example, when I use a motocross bike, the Change Seat action is assigned to Maj + G, but this key combination does not appear anywhere in my keyboard/mouse keybind settings, so I cannot change it.
Another example is the Turbo/Boost action, which is also shown in-game as Maj + G too, but there is no Maj+ G binding or option available in my settings, i use the left button of my mouse to use acceleration.
It seems that some vehicle controls are just hidden or unavailabl or cannot be configured through the settings menu.
I have already checked my keybinds like 100 times, but I cannot find any way to modify these controls.
The issue started after the September 2026 patch, i’m using fortnite in french version.
Could you please let me know if this is a known bug and whether there is a way to reset or manually configure these vehicle controls?

Steps to Reproduce
Launch Fortnite on PC.
Open the Keyboard & Mouse settings.
Enter a game mode where vehicles are available.
Using azerty keyboard.
Enter a car or motocross bike, or interact with a Reboot/Revive Van in Zero Build.
Check the controls displayed for vehicle-specific actions.
Try to change these vehicle controls in the Keyboard & Mouse settings.
Expected Result
All the vehicle-specific actions should have corresponding keybind options in the Keyboard & Mouse settings, allowing the player to assign or change the keys used for actions such as Change Seat, Turbo/Boost, and Reboot/Revive Van interactions.
Observed Result
Some vehicle-specific actions are assigned to key combinations that cannot be found or configured in the Keyboard & Mouse settings.
For example, the game displays Maj + G for certain vehicle actions, but there is no Shift + G binding available in the settings. As a result, I cannot change these controls.
