Align grid to level instance you're editing?

hi there. i have a world level loaded and in that world map is a house level instance. the house instance is rotated 33.58935 degrees for example. if i select the house LI and hit ctrl-e to edit it and drop a mesh into it, it’s using the world rotation, not the house rotation. thus for EVERY mesh i place in there, i have to fix it’s rotation by rotating it by 33.58935 degrees just to get it in alignment with the house and then i can start doing the grid snapped 90 degree rotations and whatnot for further rotations. that seems like way too much work though.. that there would be a button so when you place meshes while editing a level instance for them to get the world grid and world axis of the LI you’re editing so this annoyance doesn’t occur, but i can’t seem to find a setting like that so i figured i’d ask… Also we’d need the grid to be the LI’s grid, not the world grid so objects would be in grid alignment with LI and not the world.

PS…and yeah, instead of dropping a mesh into the edited LI, i could just dupe an already existing mesh and swap which mesh it’s using, but i don’t like doing that because then you have actor names that don’t match the mesh path names, which is annoying for when you’re trying to find the actors that use certain meshes and whatnot, so that’s not a good solution.

thanks!
