When closing a file that had an Alembic file (vertex animation cache) that was mostly working, playing, and casting shadows - it seems to act up after opening up the project file again.
- It no longer seems to cast shadows
- No longer can edit the materials (which were already pretty broken)
- Smoothing groups seem to break

Not sure how to correct this, but seems consistent with Alembic vertex animation files. Works, then on second run, most of it’s broken.
