AI not moving, why?

My AI character (the shark) is not moving towards the player (boat) when it senses the player. When I start the game the shortly moves away from the playerAI. I have added a navmeshboundvolume. I was wondering if it may have something to do with the floating of the objects. Any idea how I can make the shark move towards the player?

This is the shark AI blueprint.

Here you can see the shark moving away in the beginning and then nothing…

Hello. It’s hard to say with few elements. Maybe it is not reachable for the AI, why did you put 0.0.0 in location to move to ?
You can try to replace, when triggered, the location by a “get random reachable location”, then if it moves, it tell us that your old location is not reachable.

I’ve added a random location and the shark turns, but doesn’t move to any other location.

Alright, so it is a reachability issue then. I don’t really know how it works in water. But you should show your navmesh details, to see the surfaces connexions, try the P key

As you can see in the examples below, the navigation is there when I turn off the visibility of the water. Maybe the watbodyocean is interfering with the navmeshboundvolume.
