AI cant find complete path if path is too long

I have a big level with an mountain and a wander path along the mountain, now if the navigation goal is on a spot where the AI needs to take a longer route he tries to get to the clostest possible point NEAR the goal on the bottom of the mountain for example marked with the Red line, my goal is that the AI is trying to navigate the blue line because this path is not partial. Any ideas?

Currently i’m trying to use EQS and NavAreas but no luck so far
