Summary
I only tested with creatures but I’m assuming it’s a navmesh problem here, see the following video :
When I go to worlds where players are already playing, the zombies are working fine, however if I’m the first player going to a new world, the agents will go dormant for 10s+ to almost a minute, depending on the current server health/state (?)
It’s annoying when it’s a low duration, but it’s a real problem when they freeze for a minute, and our map is not really complex
In the video at 0:40 we can see that even after the zombies start working, if I teleport out and in again, they’ll be stuck again
Our map uses World Streaming but I’m not sure it matters here?
I’m assuming it’s a new navmesh optimization process or something but it would be great if it could be optimized, or if we had a volume to always force the navmesh generation for specific areas
