Age Requirement for Quixel Bridge

It says that my account does not yet meet the age requirements.
I am 21 years old. - I thought maybe somehow my age in the account was messed up, but even after creating another fresh account with my age set to my birthday so that I am 100% sure it counts as me being 21 years old - it also didn’t work - same error message.

I couldn’t find a way to change my age in the account settings aswell.

Is there a way to get this resolved on my own or do I have to set up a premium account just to get ‘premium support’ and use basic features?

Hey @GreedBurger! Welcome to the Forums!

You are going to need to reach out to Epic Accounts support to correct your issue:

Good luck in getting your age corrected on your account!

Hey @Quetzalcodename thanks for the advice.
Unfortunately i was sent to this community support by the Epic Games Account Support.

Don’t know what to do now. Could only find a few other people while googling that had a similar problem but none of them seemed to have a solution.

Any luck solving it? I have the same problem. Basically cut off from quixel

Hi,
I had the same issue today and solved it by solving background service failure issue, if you have verified your age and you still get this error, check if you see a small popup at the bottom of the page that says " Failed to restart background service". after you fix the background service issue you should be able to login. here is the related forum post and there is a very easy solution at the end of the forum posts. You just need to remove “Bridge-Bitfrost’” folder in C\Users\PCName\AppData\Roaming.

Thanks! Deleting the “Bridge-Bitfrost” directory is what worked for me.

Hmm I’m having this problem but unfotunately my Roaming/Bridge folder doesn’t have a bitfrost file inside. No idea where to update my age in epic

Hi, there should be two folders for one named “Bridge” and the other one is “Bridge-Bitfrost”. it is not inside of the “Bridge” folder but directly in the Roaming folder. Check it up, it is probably under the “Bridge” folder.

Thanks, it works for me too
