Please forgive the noob question, I’ve never really messed with landscapes… I would like to make an England from the 800’s… would like to try to get the features as close as possible to the real thing. Are these landscapes completely set, or will I be able to put hills here and there… Again, sorry for such a noob question.
@Kiwi-Hawk, Hi, That’s a lot of good ideas. Thanks. @teak421, You can use the UE4 landscape sculpt mode and painting tools to make changes to the landscapes as you want. Thanks for asking your questions.
I’m reworking landscape 09 (This ImgFuel – Your 100% Free picture Editor and image Converter) to a better quality.
I’m also working on landscape 10 which is a nice Mars planet sorta inspired by The Martian movie.
And I’m also doing some polishes to landscape 06.
After these I’m revisiting all landscapes to see what things I can improve.
After that I’m going to take a look at some possible Lord Of the Rings locations + making the rocks and foliage assets to be used.
I hope everyone is enjoying the ride so far.
Thank you for the support!
Woo thanks great!, also check this thread, I don’t know if is something feasible in it that can be useful for the package, but I don’t loose nothing posting it here and the technic result seems awesome for blending meshes like rocks with the landscape.
Done!
Comes with controllable parameters through the material instance.
This feature is a little expensive. I’m putting switches where you can enable/disable this effect with 1 click. I’m also looking to reduce any unnecessary cost.
This is the first pass on this function. I’m going to make it more modular so it can be used on other meshes too.
