Steps to Reproduce
Open Fortnite Creative 1.0 (in-game Creative Mode).
Place an Advanced Storm Controller and 10 Advanced Storm Beacons.
Configure the beacons for 10 custom storm phases using Move Randomly and custom minimum/maximum movement distances.
Start the game and allow the storm to progress through Zones 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Observe the storm locations starting at Zone 3.
Repeat the test across multiple matches. The storm may jump unexpectedly, pull toward the island center, or bounce between locations.
Expected Result
The storm should follow the configured minimum and maximum movement distances. Early zones should shrink naturally relative to the previous safe zone, without unexpected jumps or pulls toward the island center. Later moving zones should follow their configured movement behavior. Copy
Observed Result
Zones 1 and 2 can behave normally, but starting around Zone 3, the storm becomes unpredictable. Zones sometimes jump completely outside the previous safe zone, pull back toward the island center, or bounce between two locations. Changing the Move Distance Min/Max settings does not consistently fix the issue. This disrupts Battle Royale-style gameplay and makes custom storm phases unreliable.
