We’re still working on the animations. It’s progressing slowly, but it’s progressing nonetheless. I don’t know exactly when everything will be ready, but I’ll make sure to notify you guys as soon as its all set.
Thanks a lot

A French user
I play demo version and for me this ACSystem ist the best of all. I used two other System but this is a perfekt.
Professional detection point of ledge and good include mixamo model and animations.
I work with mixamo and for me this system very help for my Job.
I wait for release ACSystem and thanks for Your Job Bugmee.
Hi Bugmee!
Impressive work!! I have a question about the animations. I’m trying to do the same for my own and it’s a crazyness (i’m a programmer not an artist). Are you using mixamo animations?? if the answers is yes… how do you get root motion from mixamo?? Are you thinking about sell the animations?? As I said you work is really awesome but I would like to learn how to do that not just use it in my game
Bye!
Hi Again,
I’ve read the entire post and my proposal can be misinterpreted… I’m talking about to sell the mixamo animations with correct root motion not the new animations you are making for you system.
Bye!
Sorry everyone. I’ve been quite caught up in some other work lately and didn’t have any time to follow this thread as closely as usual.
@dob-session The controls are customizable. In your project settings under “input” you can customize the controls as you see fit.
@Spirance Thanks a lot for your kind words, I really appreciate you liking my work that much
@Kanc Thank you very much. Yes I am currently indeed using Mixamo animations. It was quite difficult to extract the root motion from Mixamo animations. I don’t really remember what exactly I did to get the root motion, but there were quite a lot of amateur-like actions that I performed (unfortunately I am no animation artist either :D). But if I remember correctly I only used root motion on one or two animations anyway. Pretty much all movements are performed without root motion, so that the system stays as dynamic as possible. Unfortunately I cant sell you any of the mixamo animations since I am legally not allowed to do so. Mixamo animations are not allowed to be distributed in their editable form. This is also the reason why I am currently working on new animations with another user. As soon as the system is ready to be distributed, we will sell the whole package, system + animations. As for you learning how to program such a system: Just keep on it! If you always try to improve your system and try to be as perfectionist as possible you will eventually get something awesome out of it (even if you don’t have a lot of experience. This was in fact my first project working with Unreal Engine or any game engine for that matter). If you look at my first video in this thread, you will see how bad the system actually was before it kept improving over time. And the first video is actually a masterpiece compared to my very first try
Hay Bugmee
I’m excited your project
I work currently in other climbing system, but this project have more bugs and not precision detection point of hands. It is possibile release beta version your project?
I watch everyday this thread and I can not wait :). Currently all steps in your demo for me is enough and i very happy if you release ACSystem in beta or early version.
Very please to consider my request but for me your project is a best of all used for me.
Regards and thanks,
I’m very interested, myself, especially if you can smoothly crawl on ceilings. The three-point corner drives me nuts.
How’s the progress @bugmee?
The ledge detection is awesome on this.
Hi Bugmee!
Any news on the climbing system?
Really looking forward to it. Let me know you need help to finish it!
Sorry, he’s been waiting patiently for me to send him the animations. That’s the last piece of the puzzle, and work and life has kept me busy, but I’ll be wrapping up things with Bugmee shortly don’t worry.
Hi Aumaan Anubis!
Thanks for letting us know!
I think we all here are very exciting for the system to hit the marketplace!
@Bugmee Hope the system is still going great. Sorry I fell of the earth, we hit a major crunch in our project and I completely forgot about this. Seems Aumaan Anubis is going to hook you up with animations though? That would be great as I look forward to purchasing this (particularly after going back and seeing your Assassin’s Creedish video, very impressive). If you still need beta testers let me know. I am going to download your test build tonight.
hi, i have need speak with you, can contact me on email or Skype: ue4developer@hotmail.com thanks
@Bugmee your inbox is full I still can’t message you
Sorry I cleaned up my inbox. Messages should be coming through again.
Really excited for the release of your project! Hand’s down looks like the best climbing system being developed. Any updates for us on how it’s coming along?
Hi @Bugmee!
Do you have any updates on the climbing system?
Can we somehow help you to make it ready for release?
I guess we are all here eagerly awaiting for it to be released!
Thanks!
@Nairam
Bugmee and I are testing his climbing system with my animations as we speak, tweaks need to be made here and there to get them working nicely. Sorry that the wait has been so long, personal stuff in my life threw me off of quite a while before I could make anything decent for you guys.
@Bugmee, If you like, please feel free to post the gifs I’ve been sending you so you can show the progress we’ve made (or I can post them, if you’ve cleared them from your inbox lol)
@Nairam Glad to see that you guys are still supporting us
Aumaan Anubis has been doing fantastic work so far. Here is a sneak peek of what is to come:
We’re still working on the system, so don’t worry, it’ll be released eventually. Unfortunately we both were quite busy lately so it might take a little while, but it’ll be worth it!
