advance 360 climbing
Hey guys I’m wondering is its really hard to do this type of climbing system in unreal where you have the 360 degrees reaching? I’ve only seen people pull this off in unity but I don’t want to use unity and was curious is this something that’s not possible or just plane to hard to do in unreal? I’ve never seen anyone do this type of climbing in unreal so i’m a bit worried unreal just makes this type of climbing to difficult to do.

Hello, blender is still making this harder than they need to be. There is a plug-in that will allow full quick and easy conversion of the assets I’ve created that I’m currently waiting for which will allow all the animations to be game ready in a single day…once that plug in releases.
I’m very sorry that this has been held up. If I had known that blender would be such a thorn in my side for animations I would have done things differently.

It’s for mirroring animations.
The current way I’ve been doing it is prone to breaking, and can corrupt animation data. The setup up I created in blender was a really long and laborious workaround, it works but it’s no good for batch exports, the is that the animations and corrupt on export and takes days to debug what went wrong. (since the set-up I did was very hap hazard with no reference, it’s like no one on the internet ever needed to mirror animations in blender that’s why there’s no published batch method yet lol.)
The plug-in I’m waiting for is a UE4 plug-in that takes care of this, and it’s close to releasing soon, and will reliably convert everything without interference from blender.
Yes, but what’s the name of the blender plugin/project? Who’s putting it out? Do you have a link? I’d like to look into the plugin itself.

It’s a UE4 plug-in I found called “RMAMirrorAnimation”, it’s going to release sometime soon.
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. I’ve seen this. I had the mistaken impression that the plugin was for importing animations from Blender.
