Additive Materials Dont Render Opacity In Scene Capture Components

Summary

Additive materials do not render to the opacity channel of a render target drawn by a scene capture component. This will cause meshes with additive materials to be drawn over if there is nothing behind them.

Steps to Reproduce

Create an additive material and add it to a mesh Create a scene capture component and a respective render target for it to draw to Face the scene capture component to the mesh with the additive material Make sure the scene capture components “Primitive Render Mode” is set to UseShowOnly List, and add the mesh with the additive material to the show only list.

Expected Result

Additive material should draw its opacity to the render targets opacity channel

Observed Result

Additive material fails to draw anything at all to the render targets opacity channel
