Adding new water splines to ocean doesn't affect water

Hello, I’m in the process of making a game that uses unreals water plugin, the initial wate spline the spawns with the ocean works perfectly fine but I can’t seem to get a second spline to work, I’ve tried adding a new and duplicating the first but neither work. I also looked through the details panel and didn’t find any settings that would help, does anyone know how to get this working?
