Adding mesh to motion controler

I set it up so that when i grab a sword with my motion controller’s trigger, it will add it to a socket on the mesh of the hand. Here is the method im using:

When I grab the sword, at attaches to my hand, but the position is off, how do I edit the position of the sword on the socket? I have tried going into the mesh of the hand and moving the socket around with a preview of the sword on, but it changed nothing.

I haven’t experienced on that but have you tryed in location rule “Keep World” instead of “Snap to Target”?
