adding distortion to output of scene and pixel depth

hi all , it might be simple question but i am new to ue4 and i am have created a water material and i used the scene and pixel depth out put to show water depth , but now all i want to do is , add distortion from to the the result of it to create a wavy effect . but i don’t know how i can input the R and g channel of my panning normal map to the UV of this.

Hi, can you be a little bit more specific? I’m a little confused on what you are trying to do? are you trying to add some refraction? or trying to move your waves around? or something else?
