Looking for a way to create a boarder or at the very least some noise and a stroke/outline effect between textures when painting them on the landscape. The UE4 Stylized game guide shows using Lerp nodes to create that effect but with the paintable landscape layers there doesn’t appear to be a way to create that same result.
Ideally it would be cool to find a way to paint textures with a tile set. I’m not sure if the texture of the landscape is based on vert locations or what. But is there a way those could be used to control a tile set? so each time you paint on a vert it checks the surrounding vertices and then applies/updates the texture on that location to the right tile?
Either way I’ve been messing around with this for a while now and just can’t find a work around, and I feel pretty silly about it.
(Attached images are just best exampled I could find)
