Epic is making changes to its ecosystem that will help provide an age-appropriate experience for players, developers, and creators of all ages.
In order to continue using certain Unreal Engine, Twinmotion and MetaHuman services and tools in the Epic ecosystem, you must take the following steps:
Log into your Epic account and report your age, if not previously on record, by March 6, 2023.
If you have not been prompted to update your age and are unsure if you have previously done so, try logging out of your Epic account and logging back in. You may also try logging in to your Epic account in incognito mode.
If you need additional assistance, please reach out to Support.
Please note that failing to log in and report your age by March 6 could result in the following impacts:
Epic Dev Community: All forum posts, answers, tutorials, and code snippets belonging to accounts without an associated age will be de-identified until an age is entered. If you enter your age after the deadline, most of your content will be restored but you may need to manually add some details.
Unreal Engine Marketplace: Text reviews and product questions belonging to accounts without an associated age will be de-identified until an age is entered. If you enter your age after the deadline, most of your content will be restored but you may need to manually add some details.
Support Channels (e.g. UDN, Twinmotion communities): All posts, including questions, comments, and attachments will be permanently removed. If you report your age after the deadline, your site access can be restored as a new user, without previous content.
Twinmotion Cloud: Presentations and Panorama Sets uploaded to Twinmotion Cloud will be permanently deleted and unable to be restored. New copies of the Presentations and Panorama Sets would need to be exported from Twinmotion after creating a new account.

I didnât manage to give my age either. I still donât understand why Amanda.Schade gave a link to the entire Epic Games support, and not where to go.

*I asked my friends about this issue and some said that they did it at the end of December 2022. Prior to this, Epic had agreed to settle two court cases for a record-breaking sum. I guess now they want to know how old everyone is.

If you can de-identify content posted by accounts of unknown age, surely you can specify somewhere in the account management page if the date of birth has been filled or notâŚ
Hello! I donât think I can be of any help because I myself encountered such a problem and I managed to solve it with the help of support.
I already wrote above that they started asking you to enter your age at the end of December 2022, and perhaps you entered it on one of the resources of the Epic Games family.
Most likely you should just contact support and ask them to check your account for this paragraph. Support responds quickly. In all my appeals, the waiting time was no more than two hours. In addition, they have a chat function and they will answer you instantly.

The âreport your ageâ link is straight up broken for me. I must have done at least 50 â â â â â â â â captchas with AI generated hamster pictures before figuring out the url that lets me log in is âepicgames dot com/id/loginâ and not âepicgames dot com/id/login/epicâ, which is what was linked and does not work. Also canât check my reported age anywhere in my account.
For those of you who are unsure of the fact that whether you have done the age verification or not, there is a way you can cross check by yourself.
Go to your Epic âAccount Settingsâ and download âAccount Informationâ. It will be a pdf file containing many information regarding your account. Open the document with the password received in the mail. In the document, under âAccount Historyâ section you can check for the HISTORY_ACCOUNT_MINOR_STATUS_UPDATED., you will see something like minorStatus : NOT_MINOR

So Epic doesnât know my date of birth, but knows Iâm not a minor. Iâm guessing thatâs why I canât get a prompt. Hoping this will be enough not to get de-identified.
