Acquiring help for triangular water plane

Hello forum!

I’m in the process of creating a “triangulated” water plane. The concept is quite difficult to explain, so I’d rather show you in pictures.

Consider the following:

This is my plane made withing blender, exported as FBX, and imported into UE4:

And this is how I’d like the waves to look like:

Could someone guide me towards a correct solution? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the reply and the links . Made it work and look like this:

It’s a bit difficult to see as my material is translucent :slight_smile: But it does look fabulous!
