Hello,
This is my first time using uefn and I wanted to change the name of my project and thought I had read the option as ‘save as’ and not ‘save level as’. So now I’ve been adding new things for days now until I went back and read it correctly. Im making a zone capture map so there are no different levels on my game. I just reinstalled windows and opened uefn and opened my project and thought I lost all my progress but then saw I had to only open the level and it was all there. Will this affect my game when I publish? should I just start over?
No you are totally good.
Reinstalling windows simply lost your editor preferences which includes the map to open in UEFN.
A project can have multiple maps (not a huge amount of utility… yet )
This can be helpful if you want a game map and a test map for dev purposes.
The only thing you may want to look at is which map the experience will load when published and just make sure it’s what you want it to be.
That is found in the GameFeatureData, open it and see the Experience data.
Just ensure that is the map you want and you should be good to go.
