About "ExponentialHeightFog" in unreal engine 5

Hello everyone, i know that my question is very weird, but i really don’t understand what is the “Fog Height Falloff” option does in “ExponentialHeightFog”; can someone please explain to me what happens to fog when i increase or decrease the value of this option?

you could test it yourself. just use a higher density and you can clearly see the effect. it’s a parameter for the distribution across the height. the default spans across a larger range, if you raise the value it goes more towards ground fog.
