A translucent material seems not to perceive objects or walls, and light would appear to pass through them

Hi!
I recently started working in UE5.

I create photorealistic interiors and I’ve managed to solve all the problems that have come up so far, but for some reason, I can’t find a solution to this one:
If I make a material translucent, it’s as if walls, furniture, and objects don’t exist for it. It immediately receives light, so it’s not realistic.

This is my first forum post; I hope I didn’t mess anything up. Finding a solution is very important to me, and I can even share my file if that helps.
