A "artistic" way to add AO in realtime raytrace lighting ?

Hi guys , I noticed AO will not show up/apply/too subtle in realtime raytrace scene (no matter which types) , but way more in a lightmass/lighting baked scene.
I can see AO in the buffer visualizer , in my realtime raytrace scene.
I knew this is a correct way to not show up in non-shade /bright areas , but I want to add some contact shadow between such as a chair and the floor.

Is there a way to do that ? thx !
