670M Laptop Instant crash with HTC Vive and UE VR mode

anyone had this issue I can not get the laptop to run UE4 VR. Just crashes out instantly.

670M 6GB
16GB RAM
Windows 7 64bit
Gigabyte P35W V3

GTX 670M is an Optimus GPU. It’s a hybrid of Nvidia and Intel. Unfortunately, Intel controls the HDMI port so it’s never played nicely with VR headsets. There was a very brief window of time I could get a DK2 to work with Optimus but that was many runtimes ago.
