I just downloaded Unreal Engine 5.7 to follow a tutorial, and I can’t find starter content anywhere. I couldn’t find it as an option when creating the project, then I tried to go to Add → Add feature or Content pack and there should have been an option, but there isn’t, then I searched for the starter content tickbox in the launch options for the engine, and its not there either. This is the first step I had to do for a tutorial, and Ive been searching for about 45 mins. Please help.
Hello there @Portuiopa!
Considering that UE 5.7 has released just a few days ago, this could be a temporal glitch. Your best bet is to install 5.6, which should have all functions working as intended. Starter content should either be already present, or available for addition as a pack.
i don’t know it for sure, but he package that contains the starter content is significantly smaller in size ( 1+GB ) BUT in the previous version it is 3.6 GB , i think they removed that pack , look for some other content pack fab market place
hey @Portuiopa Check out this other reply from a similar post. UE5.7 doesn’t ship with Starter content anymore. But you can migrate it across as soon in this forum post
