My workflow relies heavily on importing FBX animations which contain both bone transforms and animation curves.
In 5.4 this works perfectly. On import I would get a single anim sequence containing both the bone transform tracks and the animated curve tracks.
However, in 5.5 I now get two anim sequences. One of them contains the bone transform tracks and the other contains the animation curves. Why?
Thanks
Peter
By any chance, could you share this FBX with me in DM so we try to repro here?

Thank you for looking into this problem.
I have sent you a test file as requested.
Are you aware of any changes to the pipeline?
@mrpdean
By the look of the animation name - are you using Blender?
If so, you are exporting the NILA track (or whatever its called now a days) and you probably have hidden/stashed animations in there.

Hi @MostHost_LA ,
I’m using Houdini not Blender.
Nothing has changed with my own pipeline for a long time.
It’s been working fine since UE 4.25 until 5.5.
I’m not up to speed on Houdini for characters - it could be they also added a similar system that lets you stash animations and that the export is picking up all of it - Check on that.
Yes, in 5.5, the support for FBX asset import through the new Interchange Framework was turned on by default.
It should behave like legacy FBX asset import.
