Summary
My UEFN project passes Verse compilation, Windows cooking, memory calculation, and UEFN Publishing Validation.
However, Creator Portal blocks release creation with:
Internal Error – Cooker Timeout
errors.com.epicgames.cookplugin.heartbeattimeout
This persists across multiple new private versions, including after Full Recook and migrating deprecated Marketplace imports.
Current UEFN build: 42.20.58011042.
Memory: 83,277/100,000.
The last successfully published version was created September 13 using 42.10.
Please investigate the publishing cook worker failure. I can provide project, module, snapshot, and private-version identifiers privately to Epic staff.

Steps to Reproduce
- Open the affected, previously published project in UEFN 42.20.
- Compile Verse successfully.
- Launch a session and run memory calculation.
- Create a new private version. UEFN reports “Publishing Validation: Passed, Ready to Publish,” with successful Windows cooking.
- Open that same private version in Creator Portal and select Create Release.
- Open the failed Verse Validation details.
The failure repeats across multiple new private versions, including after Full Recook.
Expected Result
Creator Portal completes validation and allows release creation. If validation detects a project problem, it provides an actionable error identifying the affected asset, Verse definition, or processing stage.
Observed Result
Creator Portal reports “Verse validation failed” and disables Continue. The detailed error is:

The same private version passes UEFN publishing validation. Creator Portal also passes its memory, download size, asset status, and in-island transaction checks.
Full Recook and updating deprecated Marketplace imports did not resolve the failure.
