When I use VR Preview, mirroring no longer works correctly. Instead of mirroring the full stereoscopic image, it only renders 50% of the screen centered in the viewport and without distortion. Upon exiting VR Preview, my Rift continues to show a glitched portion of my editor on the screen, instead of comfortably going to black. Also, I have had my editor “freak out” a few times when exiting VR Preview where my editor shows rendering errors (partial stereoscopy) or is non-responsive.
