Is anyone else noticing that Alt enter in extended mode is not working in packaged games in 4.8.3? I only noticed it late last night when I was testing my third person project and I have VR view enabled in HMD view. I haven’t had a chance to try out other views yet but I’m wondering has Oculus integration taken a backward step with this latest update. It was working perfectly a few weeks ago. Now only direct mode works in a very buggy way capped at 37 pfs.
Total shot in the dark but try making a shortcut to your game’s .EXE and put it on the desktop. Right - Click on the shortcut and open up the properties. In the Target section, at the end of the line after the **.EXE" ** and -Fullscreen. When completed you should have something that looks like this.
“C:\UE4\Epic_Games\Launcher\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UnrealEngineLauncher.exe” -Fullscreen
Then try and run your game using the shortcut. This should allow you to launch the game and force it to go full screen without you having to press Alt-Enter. If that does not work please let us know.
