Hi there,
when I start launch my project and change the screen percentage via console to 100 via ‘hmd sp 100’ everything works fine. But when I increase it with ‘hmd sp 130’, the update in the Rift stops (the game is still running as seeen in the mirror screen).
Hi ,
I was able to reproduce this issue and have entered a report into our database. Our staff can track it as TTP 345762. Please let us know if you encounter any other unexpected behavior.
Thank you,
Short follow up: Seems still not fixed in 4.4.3. “hmd sp xxx” freezes the Oculus screen update instantly.
Hi ,
We do not anticipate this being resolved before 4.5’s release, but I am personally pursuing a fix for this.
Thank you, I’m fine with that.
Glad you are working on it this is really a huge issue.
Update: Still not fixed in UE 4.5.0. HMD still freezes instantly. Now it has been more then 6 weeks…
BTW: Why is this marked as ‘resolved’?
We resolve questions that are answered when a report is made so that we do not end up with many open tickets for the same issue, causing tracking problems.
The report has been tested by engine QA and marked as fixed in 4.5, but requires you to have the latest Oculus Display Drivers installed as well. Please let me know if it is still an issue with those installed and I will have the report reopened and investigated.
Thank you!
Hi ,
I have the latest Oculus Runtime (0.4.2) and the newest firmware (2.12) and it’s not fixed in UE 4.5.0 (from launcher).

Hi ,
I have assigned a technician to look into this issue again and I have also received word from our QA department that they are investigating the problem now.
