4.26 SteamVR & DirectX 12 Causes Crash On Launch

Trying to implement DirectX 12 for SteamVR on Oculus Quest 2 but it seems it’s not supported?

I saw that someone had a pull request 2 years ago on the VR build of the engine but does it even work? I don’t really want to download a new version of the engine if it isn’t confirmed.

I think this is a bug in recent versions of SteamVR (or some kind of interaction with UE4 and SteamVR when using DirectX 12). In my experience it’s present on the stable branch, but got fixed in one of the recent beta updates. See if switching SteamVR to the beta branch fixes it.
