4.25 Painted Mesh LOD's

So I know there has been a problem in the past Vertex painting all LOD’s. Now in year 2020 with version 4.25 I am under the assumption that you have the ability to paint all LOD’s when in mesh paint mode… When in paint mode and scroll down to the LOD section, it says “apply to all LODs” or something along those lines. Am I correct in saying this? I have this enabled when I paint, yet when I step back my LOD changes but the updated vertex paint is not updated. I can open each up individually and paint them but that is time consuming and rather hard to keep them all looking the same! I am using a Megascan Blend Material to paint.
Any information would be great!

I have recently done this by just importing the vertex painted mesh and having the engine generate impostors.

Not sure that helps - if your lods aren’t generated by the engine it won’t.

I just found in the mode toolbar that there is a button to apply the paint from LOD0 to the rest. It works well!
