[4.24] Foliage is painting on invisible colliders

Hi,

I’m having some problems painting foliage. The thing is that it’s painting on an invisible collider instead of painting over the existing colliders. The brush is not recognizing my mesh colliders… I have no idea what’s going on here.

Anyone knows what can I do? Thanks.

Sorry, the questoin is a bit vague. The tool will always put the foliage on the appropriate collision volume.

Make sure you have the right collision type selected in the tool:

The question is that the tool is not putting the foliage on the appropiate collision volume… and don’t know why.

I have the right collision type selected: Static Mesh and Foliage are checked, so it should put the foliage over the mesh colliders. But as you can see in the picture, it is placing it in the middle of the air.

In the picture you are seeing the Player Collision view mode. Those purple things are the colliders where I want the foliage to be.

No one? :frowning:

Sorry for the delay, it’s a good idea to ‘quote’ otherwise people don’t know you’ve answered.

Have you tried looking at the scene in collision view? The tool will be placing the foliage on something:
