4.2 BSP UVs change when opening a 4.1 map

Hey Guys

I’ve opened a map from 4.1 in 4.2 and all of my materials on BSP walls and floors are completely different, their tiling is different and their position seems random, so I basically have to go through my level and do them all again.

Is there any solution to this?

Also I’d like to point out, I remember some of my UV scale options for the walls and floors, and now they’re different, for example I multiplied a lot of my UVs by 4, now I get my original results when I multiply them by 5. Any info on that too?


Thank you for your report. We were not able to investigate this on the engine version you reported, but there have been many version changes to UE4 since this question was first posted. With a new version of the Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur.
