4.18 - Reimported Static Mesh Resize Randomly

I’m modelling in Maya at 1/100th scale so when I import into Unreal, I change the scale to 100. When I re-import the static mesh with no changes to the import settings, it often ignores the import scale and acts as if I chose 1 in the import settings. I have to save several more times for it to see the import scale settings again and show at the right size.

You mentioned above you model at 1/100th scale, but what are the Working Units that you are using in Maya? Unreal Engine uses Unreal Units which one of is equivalent to one centimeter, which you can change maya to use. If you can give me the steps that you are taking from Maya and what your import settings are, I can take a look at the issue.
