3d Rigger / Skinner (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Construct and maintain 3D rigs for assigned assets
• Skinning and weight painting of 3d character meshes
• Troubleshoot and fix rigging issues for artists
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Keep current on pipeline techniques and technology

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in 3d rigging / skinning or equivalent education
• Proficiency with standard industry software (eg. Maya or Blender)
• Thorough understanding of techniques and technologies relating to rigging and animation
• Advanced knowledge of skeleton setup, skinning, constraints and deformers
• Work independently and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure
• Unreal Engine experience a strong asset
• Applicants local to Australia/Oceania/Asia preferred due to timezones, if not, must be willing to work non-standard hours to align with Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT+10)
