37.10 Crashing/Update stuck at 41%

Summary

After the recent update. 37.10 I am experiencing multiple issues. First is Fortnite and UEFN will not update all the way. They get stuck at 41% and then eventually freeze my computer after a few minutes. I tried restarting my computer and trying to download the update again and the same thing happens. This happened about 3 times and then I tried verifying my files which then showed launch under Fortnite and UEFN. I tried launching and it crashed with a Bad Image error code: 0xc000012f which then let me submit a report which I did. I restarted my computer again and then noticed an update for the Epic Games Launcher so I did that and my pc froze and completely crashed. After turning my pc back on my UEFN Proejcts folder and all my games are no longer installed on my pc. Although the storage size seems to have increased almost as if the files still exist and got doubled but I cant find them on my pc. Im wondering if this has something to do with where the Epic Games Launcher got reinstalled. I had changed the location in the past and it seems like it might have reverted to C drive by default possibly removing all my UEFN files/installed games.

Steps to Reproduce

Not sure how to reproduce because this happened after the recent update so nothing was done on my end to cause this. Possibly try moving your Epic Game folder to a different drive, install uefn/fortnite then make a project so it shows up on your pc and then try to restart and update Epic Games Launcher and see if it by default moves back to C: drive and when it does, does it remove the files from the old location? Still wouldnt explain the update getting stuck at 41% prior to updating Epic Games Launcher though.

Expected Result

Expected results are to be able to update UEFN/Fortnite properly and not lose all my files.

Observed Result

Observed result is that Fortnite/UEFN will not update and have potentially caused lost work that was done locally.

UPDATE 08/28/2025 5:08pm PT
-After looking around, I noticed one of my drives was missing. Im assuming maybe the crash caused the drive to not show up anymore or maybe the crash was caused by the drive not being there. I do have this issue resolved now as I powered off my PC opened it and unplugged my drives then plugged them back in, then powered back on the PC and the drive showed up so I was able to update/reinstall Fortnite/UEFN.
