I have tried to follow this video and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dObRg_R15E&t=3s but it only shows the left eye (image). I understand if I connect the Add node to the UV’s texture sample it shows me the right eye (image) however I do not have much experience with materials.
Thank you however I also tried that exact custom node code and it only allow me to see the left eye image. What do I add or change. When I package it anyways there is a green flicker over the top of my 360 sphere. Thanks again for any support.
If it’s not working, the material might be rendering in a non-stereo pass. Are you using it directly on a mesh, or applying it to something like a UI panel or stereo layer?
What VR headset are you using?
Another thing to check is whether the M_LeftEyeGreen_RightEyeRed material in the VR template works.
Thank you I went over the video fully and used the custom node output type CMOT Float 2 and restarted it all on another project and now its working but a little weird on the eyes however, is that normal or how do I fix that. Thanks again for your help!
I’d say it’s normal. 360 stereo video is hard to project well. You only get the full stereo separation when looking at video forward straight-on, and even then the video will not have the correct IPD unless you have the metadata for it, and correct for it in the shader.
