Not yet but I will be providing a character select screen in a future update. But it is a big update and will probably only come towards the end of spring. But i will get it touch as i start needing animations and see if you can sort something out
Thanks for the replies, the character select screen will be awesome. I will see if I can help find you some suitable animations. If you have a list of all the animations you need, then that could be helpful.
By the way, I had a couple more suggestions for future features if you are up for it.

Boss Creature
- Ideally, a 2-3 stage boss fight with a basic pattern in each stage of the fight.

Flying Enemy
- An enemy that will fly towards and follow the player when the player comes within a certain proximity
As my main trade is Game Design, having a basic Boss Enemy, with some basic stages/ states, and attacks, would be a huge help. I would also be happy to help you plan out, and design the Boss Creature as well, if youād like.

Congratulations for the kit, itās really great feel but could you add the possibility of enemies who shoot you with bullets in metal slug style movements? Would be magnificent

Iāve been extremely busy with my regular job these past few months and havenāt had the time or energy to dedicate a lot of time to this but now Iāve started work again and I will update the pack in the next month or so. Exactly what I do not know since I have started work on a major update but I think I will split it into multiple smaller ones for now. I did manage to secure some additional character graphics with animations so new enemy variety and behavior seems likely at this point for the update , plus I really want to add a checkpoint system so hopefully that should be in the pipeline to be released by late june.

Iām having a bit of a problem, each time I open the project I get these 2 warning messages:
- Warning CreateExport: Failed to load Outer for resource āScaleBox_0ā: WidgetTree/Game/2DPlatformingKit/Widgets/pickupText.pickupText_C:WidgetTree_124
- Warning CreateExport: Failed to load Outer for resource āScaleBoxSlot_0ā: ScaleBox /Game/2DPlatformingKit/Widgets/pickupText.pickupText_C:WidgetTree_124.ScaleBox_0
Not sure whether this is an issue or not, but just wanted to draw your attention to it. Thanks

Thanks for this kit, itās exactly what I needed, and itās very well thought out! I do have one questionā¦
I want to start game with ranged weapons unequipped, however I canāt figure it out.
Iāve tried disabling the following settings for all weapons :
- PlayerHasWeapon
- PlayerHasWeaponEquipped
I even tried disabling the weapon equip for Event BeginPlay in the Player_Character blueprint, but no matter what I try, I canāt start the character with no default weapon enabled.
Any ideas?

Iāve been looking through the blueprints and there seem to be some things which donāt appear to have any functionality or be connected to anything (e.g. BP_GenericDoubleJumpWall; BP_Spikes_small; Player_Character function āCanJumpInternalā).
Iām just trying to get my head around whatās in there and how everything interacts, before I start making any changes. So I wanted to ask about these objects, to see if Iāve missed something. Are they things you just didnāt finish, or things you decided werenāt needed, or are they connected in some way that Iāve missed?
Any advice you could offer would be very helpful
