2 Types of Wood (World Resource)???

Summary

Somehow I have 2 types of wood in the inventory, the slots cannot be merged and the items function as 2 separate IDs.

In UEFN, only one type of Wood exists. The secondary type of wood cannot be used to build or repair structures, nor referenced or collected in devices like the Conditional Button.

Due to the nature of the issue, I’ve only encountered this in our Bed Wars but it shouldn’t even be possible. Video showcases this issue.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play Toy Bed Wars (code below)
  2. Join Red Team
  3. Pickaxe the Wooden Block. This should grant you Wood that can be used by the player. We’ll call this Wood Type A.
  4. Observe that Wood Type A functions normally as intended, like the resource in Battle Royale and other experiences. You can build with it and buy things with it.
  5. Collect Wood that spawns in front of the block every couple seconds. This Wood will be referred to as Wood Type B.
  6. Observe that Wood Type B doesn’t stack with Type A, does not show in the resource count UI, cannot be used to build and has it’s own inventory slot.

Expected Result

There should only be one type of Wood, that functions like Wood Type A.

Type B should not exist.

Observed Result

There’s 2 types of Wood items, despite only one being exposed in UEFN.

Did you by any chance modify the item variant GUID in any of the spawners

FORT-970102 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

So you didn’t modify the Guid

Gold use to have 2 varients, but they fixed it

Is this a recurring glitch ? like if you delete the wood block and make it again does it still produce wood type B ?

They’ve been working with currencies lately, could have introduced a bug which could make it a currency element instead of a resource ???
